Enbridge has agreed to buy three utilities providers from Dominion Energy for $14 billion in a deal that will create North America’s largest natural gas utility platform by volume.
Under the agreement, Enbridge will acquire The East Ohio Gas Company, Questar Gas Company and its related Wexpro companies, and Public Service Company of North Carolina. The deal will allow Enbridge to add gas utility operations in Ohio, North Carolina, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
