Triton International, the world’s largest owner and lessor of intermodal freight containers, has been acquired by Brookfield Infrastructure in a take-private transaction that reflects an enterprise value of approximately $13.3 billion.
Triton will continue to operate under the Triton name and maintain its global presence while leveraging Brookfield’s access to long-term private capital to grow the business.
