Symbotic, a leading provider of artificial intelligence-powered automation technology for the supply chain, and SoftBank Group announced the formation of a joint venture, GreenBox Systems, that will serve the warehouse-as-a-service market.
By using Symbotic’s advanced AI and automation technology, GreenBox will automate supply chain networks globally. In tandem with the partnership, Symbotic has also agreed to a $7.5 billion new customer contract with GreenBox, which will make the newly formed entity the sole provider of Symbotic systems in the warehouse-as-a-service market.
