For advising Hillhouse Investment Management on its investment in South Korea’s SK On, S&C won “Equity Market Deal of the Year” at the Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards. SK On is the world’s fifth largest manufacturer of electric vehicle batteries; the company has joint ventures with Ford and Hyundai-Kia Motors. Hillhouse is a global private equity firm with home bases in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing.
