October 31: Catastrophes, climate change and insurance industry implications
On October 31, Fabio Weinberg Crocco, associate in S&C’s General Practice Group and Co-Chair of the IBA’s Reorganisation and Workouts Subcommittee, will participate in the panel discussion “Global economic disruption and sovereign debt restructuring,” which will focus on the challenges faced by countries with sovereign debt issues due to war, political instability, inflation, depreciating currencies or shortages of basic commodities.
November 2: Lights, camera, action! A case study of the international restructuring of Cineworld Group
On November 2, Chris Howard, Head of S&C’s European Restructuring Practice, will participate in the panel discussion “Lights, camera, action! A case study of the international restructuring of Cineworld Group.” The panel will explore the multijurisdictional issues related to Cineworld Group’s 2022 chapter 11 proceeding, the largest chapter 11 filing that year.
