On September 21, Ari Blaut, co-head of Sullivan & Cromwell’s U.S. Credit & Leveraged Finance practice, spoke at Private Debt Investor’s New York Forum. Ari moderated the panel, “Special situations & distressed investing in today’s environment.”
The panel focused on strategies to take advantage of opportunities for overleveraged companies, limited partners’ willingness to commit capital for future opportunistic investments. It also presented case studies on managing defaults and resolving issues, and identify which sectors and strategies provide the most opportunities while avoiding more vulnerable opportunities.
