Annie Ostrager joined an event hosted by the NYC Bar Association, “Avoiding Ethical Pitfalls in Corporate Internal Investigations.” This program, held virtually on November 22, discussed key considerations for in-house counsel and outside counsel advising companies or executives on internal investigations. Topics included understanding the nature of the allegations, identifying the client, deciding who will conduct the investigation, touch points to government investigations, privilege consideration and issues arising out of the disposition of the investigation.
