Not-for-Profit Law Institute on November 13 on the topic, “Attracting and Retaining a Diverse Board and Staff.” The Institute highlighted important issues in non-profit law, including steps nonprofits can take to diversify their staff, boards and grantees, and guidance on online fundraising platforms and tools. New York State Attorney General Letitia James spoke about her office’s work in the non-profit sector and offered her insights into the current processes and priorities of the Internal Revenue Service, as well as those of her office’s Charities Bureau.
