S&C Advises on Two IJGlobal Americas Award-Winning Transactions

Two Sullivan & Cromwell matters were honored with IJGlobal Americas Awards, which recognize best-in-class transactions and organizations across the international infrastructure and energy sectors.
 
In the “North American Petrochemical Deal of the Year,” S&C advised Golden Triangle Polymers Company, a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical Company and QatarEnergy, on the project financing of an integrated polymers facility in Orange, Texas. The S&C team advising Golden Triangle included Stewart Robertson, Inosi Nyatta and Sam Saunders.
 
In the “Latin American Mining Refinancing Deal of the Year,” S&C advised Marcobre, a subsidiary of Peru-based mining company Minsur, in the $500 million refinancing of the Mina Justa copper mine project in Peru. The S&C team was led by Sergio Galvis and Benjamin Kent.
