On February 8, Patrick Brown participated in a roundtable discussion hosted by the UCLA School of Law and the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law and Policy discussing Compensation and Corporate Governance. The discussion focused on some of today’s most challenging topics such as CEO pay ratios, worker and gender pay equity, corporate investment in human capital, long-termism, ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues, issues surrounding director compensation, and the participants’ views on the impact of these developments on directors and their duties.
