Nader Mousavi, co-head of S&C’s
intellectual property and cybersecurity practices, received the Stanford University Associates Governors’ Award on April 13
th. The Governors’ Award is given to Stanford Associates members who have demonstrated exemplary and long-standing volunteer service to Stanford University. Nader was honored for his “superb ability to rally fellow alumni and generate excitement for all manner of Law School engagement” and for his “natural resourcefulness and eagerness that are truly contagious, making him the ideal Law School alumni citizen.”
The Stanford Associates, established in 1935, is Stanford University’s honorary organization for exemplary alumni volunteers. Nader is a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School, where he teaches a course on Patent and Technology Licensing. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for Stanford Law School’s Program in Law, Science & Technology and is the law school’s National Reunion Chair.
