On October 2, Joseph Neuhaus, head of S&C’s Arbitration Group, spoke at the 8th annual Global Arbitration Review Live in New York event. He moderated the panel entitled “International Arbitration – The Year in Review,” which covered Brexit and the effect on arbitration in London; the Burford short-seller controversy; recent and ongoing arbitration cases in the Supreme Court and New York courts; the ICC’s recent practice of submitting amicus briefs in arbitration cases; and other developments in international arbitration in the last year.
The annual conference draws an audience of practitioners from across the U.S. and the rest of the world and focuses on the impact of international arbitration in New York.
