On December 12, 2018, Craig Jones and Samuel Saunders published an article titled “Recent Developments in Sustainable Finance” in Project Finance International. Sustainable finance is defined as “practices and instruments of the financial services industry aimed at promoting desirable environmental and/or social outcomes.” The article covers developments in green, social and sustainability bonds; green loans; EU regulations; financial institution fossil fuel policies; and sustainable equity investments. The article builds on S&C’s growing body of work in the Renewable & Alternative Energy industry.
