April 7: Hot Topics
Renata Hesse, co-head of S&C’s Antitrust Group and former Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, will join the “Hot Topics” panel discussion, which will bring together experts to discuss issues in antitrust law from the past year, as well as offer a look ahead. Renata is currently one of the Antitrust Section’s Delegates to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates.

Renata Hesse
Renata Hesse is co-head of the Firm’s Antitrust Group. Her practice focuses on antitrust counseling, cartels and merger clearance, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property matters in high-tech industries. Renata also represents clients in civil antitrust matters and criminal investigations, including advising clients on no-poach agreements and other wage-fixing and labor market investigations. She has counseled some of the world’s largest and most influential companies, including Amazon, Amgen, Canadian Pacific, Fiserv, Praxair and Tiffany & Co.
Renata is an Antitrust Section Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates and is a frequent speaker at antitrust and legal forums. She has been named to Global Competition Review’s Women in Antitrust, The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers, and a Best Lawyer for Antitrust Law.
