Sullivan & Cromwell partner Evan Simpson shared his insights on ethics and capital markets at the sixth Law Society and American Bar Association capital markets conference on February 28 in London.
Leading authorities discussed practical issues, such as new prospectus regulation, sanctions, corruption and AML, and recent developments in debt capital markets. Alderman Sir David Wootton of the City of London Corporation delivered the keynote address.
Evan appeared on the panel, “Ethics and Capital Markets,” with Simon Wood of Addleshaw Goddard and Maura McLaughlin of Arthur Cox. They considered cross-jurisdictional ethical concerns in capital markets transactions and public M&A deals.
