Sarah Payne, Managing Partner of S&C’s Palo Alto office and Co-Head of the Capital Markets Group, was named to the Daily Journal’s “Top Women Lawyers” list, which honors excellent lawyering and leadership skills among women attorneys in California.
Sarah was recognized for her work on industry-shaping transactions, including offerings for Alibaba Group, SoftBank, Unity Software and Confluent. She also advised Joe Tsai, executive vice chairman and co-founder of Alibaba Group, and his wife, Clara Tsai, in their participation in the $75 million equity financing of the WNBA, the largest ever capital raise for a women’s sports property. “It was incredible to be part of such a significant transaction in women’s sports,” Sarah told the Daily Journal.
