Colin is a partner in the Firm’s Commodities, Futures and Derivatives and Capital Markets Groups. He advises clients on a broad range of securities and derivatives regulatory, enforcement, transactional and legislative matters. In the FTX Trading bankruptcy, Colin is advising on strategic regulatory interactions, the sales of FTX’s U.S.-regulated subsidiaries and the possible reorganization of its offshore exchange. Colin also advised FalconX on its 2022 registration with the CFTC as the first swap dealer focused on cryptocurrency derivatives, and he represented the DeFi Education Fund as amicus challenging a CFTC enforcement action.
