S&C advised the underwriters in the United Mexican States’ $3.56 billion global notes offering, which was recognized by LatinFinance as the “Sovereign Liability Management of the Year.” The July 2019 offering was Mexico’s third SEC-registered debt offering of the year and its first liability management transaction of the year. S&C clients BBVA Securities, Credit Suisse Securities and Goldman Sachs & Co. acted as joint lead underwriters. Since 1995, the Firm has regularly acted as underwriters’ counsel in offerings by Mexico.
