Whitney Chatterjee and Melissa Sawyer participated in the Women Corporate Directors’ 2018 Global Institute: Deglobalization – How to Succeed in an Era of Radical Insecurity. The event, held in New York City, was “a multi-day event featuring unique educational and networking opportunities.”
On May 8, Whitney participated in the Women Corporate Directors Foundation 2018 Family Business Governance Institute, which was designed to “provide corporate directors and C-suite executives an opportunity to explore issues such as succession planning, identifying outside directors, and strategic planning.” Whitney spoke on the topic of “Preparing the next generations—evaluating the skills needed to succeed in the family business” during a roundtable luncheon. She also participated in a panel titled “Finding Harmony – How Private Equity, Family and Independent Directors Can Work Together.” On May 9, Melissa participated in the panel “Shareholder Activists, NGO, and other Outside Interests.”
The Institute was attended by hundreds of women C-suite executives and directors of global public companies.
