Eric Kadel is a co-head of the Firm’s Foreign Investment and Trade Regulation and Economic Sanctions and Financial Crime Groups. He counsels and represents clients on matters related to U.S. economic sanctions, including: analyzing proposed transactions and business relationships; due diligence and design and review of compliance procedures and strategies; and internal investigations, voluntary disclosures and government enforcement actions.
Sharon Cohen Levin is a leading expert in anti-money laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act, economic sanctions and asset forfeiture matters. She represents a diverse group of clients, including financial institutions, multinational companies, and individuals. Sharon led the Money Laundering and Asset Forfeiture Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for two decades.
Craig Jones is an English-law qualified partner in our London office. He leads our sanctions practice in Europe, as well as advising on a broad range of other UK and EU compliance-related matters, including anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and data privacy and protection issues.
Adam Szubin advises clients on financial services and national security matters, including economic sanctions, export controls, money laundering and counter terrorism. Adam served for 13 years at the U.S. Treasury Department, including as Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence and as Director of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Manon Scales is an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Financial Services Group, Foreign Investment and Trade Regulation Group, and Economic Sanctions and Financial Crime Group. Her practice involves the representation of financial institution clients in a range of regulatory, corporate and transactional matters, including matters relating to economic sanctions and financial crime.
