Dealmaking in the renewables sector is booming. Existing developers are increasing their project pipelines, and new entrants, such as oil and gas majors, are quickly scaling up their renewable portfolios. Likewise, investment, pension and private equity funds, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) and others not previously active in the renewables sector are looking to invest, driving an active M&A market.
