S&C’s Diversity Management Department (“DMD”) received a Diversity Teams Award from Profiles in Diversity Journal and was profiled in its September issue.
The Diversity Team Award “recognizes the talented and dedicated team members who work together to support and advance diversity, inclusion, and equity within their respective organizations. The Award also celebrates the inclusivity that diverse individuals, working together as members of a team, represent.”
DMD is a three-member team who works directly with the Firm’s senior leaders—including the members of S&C’s Management Committee, Diversity Committee and Women’s Initiative Committee—and other internal departments to ensure that the Firm takes a holistic approach in executing its DEI strategy. DMD implements extensive programming to advance our BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and women lawyers and created the Firm’s multifaceted, interactive Allyship Learning Curriculum to ensure that our anti-racism work is ongoing and relevant to current conversations about civil rights and social justice.
