Unisys, a global information technology company, has announced that it will sell its U.S. Federal business to Science Applications International Corp for $1.2 billion. Unisys Federal is a leading provider of information technology solutions to U.S. federal civilian agencies and the Department of Defense. As part of this transaction, Unisys adopted a Tax Asset Protection Plan to protect its tax assets in this sale.
