Softbank Corp., one of Japan’s largest telecommunications providers, completed offerings of its common stock totaling ¥1.2, including the exercise in full of the over-allotment options granted to the underwriters.
The offerings consisted of a registered public offering in Japan and an international offering outside of Japan and the United States in accordance with Regulation S. The shares sold in the offerings consisted of shares held by SoftBank Group Japan Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SoftBank Group Corp.
S&C represented SoftBank Corp., SoftBank Group Japan Corporation and SoftBank Group Corp. in the international offering. The lead underwriters in the international offering were Nomura International plc, Merrill Lynch International, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Limited, Mizuho International plc, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Limited.
