This year, he was singled out for his roles advising on Tiffany & Co.'s $16.2 billion sale to LVMH, Novartis AG's $9.7 billion acquisition of The Medicines Co., and Amgen Inc.'s $13.4 billion purchase of Otezla from Celgen Corp. Frank told the WSJ that the resolution of Brexit and trade issues could boost the M&A market as deals previously shelved amid the uncertainty come back and companies adjust to a low-growth environment. “If you want outsized growth, the way you get it is through transactions that yield revenue growth with immediate synergies,” he said.
