Worldwide telecommunications services leader AT&T issued global notes with an aggregate principal amount of $1.265 billion via an SEC-registered Formosa offering to be listed on the Taipei Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange. The notes are due in 2050 and were sold under a shelf registration statement that AT&T filed with the SEC.
The proceeds from the sale of the notes will be used for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of upcoming debt maturities and financing AT&T’s previously announced debt tender offer.
