S&C is representing Tiffany & Co. in its acquisition by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for $135 per share in cash, in a transaction with an equity value of approximately $16.2 billion. The acquisition will strengthen LVMH’s position in jewelry and increase its presence in the United States, and will enable Tiffany to execute on its key strategic priorities to drive sustainable long-term growth. The deal—the largest-ever in the luxury goods sector, according to the
New York Times—is expected to close in the middle of 2020.
