S&C Advises Canadian Pacific on $29 Billion Announced Acquisition of Kansas City Southern
Canadian Pacific Railway Limited’s announced agreement to acquire Kansas City Southern for $29 billion signals confidence in the industrial sector as companies across the globe begin to move past the pandemic. The deal will also create the first rail network connecting the United States, Mexico and Canada. The combined company, named Canadian Pacific Kansas City, will have an enterprise value of $86 billion, operate approximately 20,000 miles of rail and employ more than 20,000 people.
