The Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University will host a speech on August 20 by Makan Delrahim, Assistant Attorney General, Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice. In his speech, “Readying the Antitrust Division for Technological Evolution in the Financial Sector and Beyond,” Mr. Delrahim will announce the Antitrust Division’s new approach to the financial sector and other reorganizations in his division.
The speech will be followed by a question and answer session with the assistant attorney general and Renata Hesse, co-head of the Antitrust Group at Sullivan & Cromwell, as well as a panel discussion. The panel will include: H. Rodgin Cohen, senior chair of Sullivan & Cromwell; S&C Financial Services partner Jared Fishman; Jamillia Ferris, partner at Wilson Sonsini; and Colleen Honigsberg, Associate Professor, Stanford Law School
