Renata Hesse spoke at the American Conference Institute’s Life Sciences Antitrust Conference on September 30. This event brought together antitrust enforcers, as well as in-house and outside counsel, to discuss the most complex antitrust challenges currently facing biopharmaceutical manufacturers.
Renata spoke on the panel, “A Deep Dive Into Recent Criminal Generic Price Fixing Cases And How They May Change the Outlook for Competition in the Industry.” Topics included the latest series of lawsuits brought by state AG offices alleging generic price fixing; recent actions brought by the DOJ alleging conspiracy to fix prices for generic drugs; and what DOJ and state AGs are looking at in these cases.
