Two S&C Matters Win GCR Awards

On March 28, two S&C matters were honored at the 7th Annual GCR Awards. The Teva/Allergan merger, in which S&C acted as counsel to Teva, was recognized as “Merger control matter of the year – Americas.” The S&C team advising Teva consisted of Steven Holley, Juan Rodriguez, Michael Engel and Patrick Gorman.

The EU Commission’s trucks cartel investigation, in which S&C acted as counsel to Iveco, was recognized as “Behavioural matter of the year – Europe.” The S&C team advising Iveco consisted of Juan Rodriguez, Axel Beckmerhagen, Michael Engel and Patrick Gorman.

The GCR Awards “celebrate the best in competition enforcement, merger and cartel defence and overall achievement.” The awards were announced at a ceremony at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. Daryl Libow and Joseph Matelis attended on behalf of the Firm.
