Tom Baxter Wins Burton Award for Legal Writing

Tom Baxter has been selected as a winner of The Burton Foundation’s 2020 Awards for Distinguished Legal Writing, which recognize law firm lawyers for “clear, concise and comprehensive legal writing.” Tom was honored for his article, “The Rise of Risk Management in Financial Institutions and a Potential Unintended Consequence – The Diminution of the Legal Function,” which was published in Business Law Today in April 2019.
 
This year marks the nineteenth consecutive year that an S&C lawyer has been honored by The Burton Awards, which are run in association with the Library of Congress. The awards ceremony will take place on June 8 at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
