Frank Aquila's Inaugural Column Appears in Practical Law The Journal

February 2, 2015

The February issue of Practical Law The Journal included Mr. Aquila's inaugural column. The column, In The Boardroom, will focus‎ issues on shareholder activism, corporate governance matters and other issues of importance to corporate directors and the lawyers who ‎advise them. The first column, “Selecting Directors Designated by an Investor,” reviews issues that boards should consider when selecting directors designated by an investor. Mr. Aquila explains the primary legal and practical considerations when deciding whether to agree to an investor’s request for board representation.‎ This topic is particularly relevant today given the frequency with which activist investors are seeking board representation. In The Boardroom will appear in every other issue of Practical Law The Journal.
