Frank Aquila's Column on Issues When Considering an Unsolicited Bid Appears in Practical Law The Journal

February 2, 2016

The February issue of Practical Law The Journal included ‎Mr. Aquila's column titled “Issues When Considering an Unsolicited Bid.” The column, which takes the form of a memorandum to a board of directors, outlines the process that a board should follow when it receives an unsolicited acquisition proposal (a so called bear hug letter) from a potential hostile bidder. Ms. Hu provided invaluable assistance in the preparation of this column. Mr. Aquila’s column, In The Boardroom, appears every other month in Practical Law The Journal and focuses shareholder activism, corporate governance matters, takeover defense and other issues of importance to corporate directors and the lawyers who ‎advise them.
