SULLIVAN & CROMWELL LLP Partner Frank Aquila appeared on CNBC's Power Lunch in a segment titled, "Tech Drives M&A Rebound." The segment focused on the current activity in the mergers and acquisitions market, highlighting deals in the technology sector. Mr Aquila said that deals "are being done in sectors where there's a lot of cash [like tech, pharmaceutical, healthcare and energy] and I think we're going to see that continuing." Mr. Aquila also indicated that when you are doing "a deal, what you are focused on is the next twelve months, the next two years, and I think that's what's important - that's what's driving a lot of these deals, not what happened in the last year...It's about the growth that [the next few years will] bring to the acquirer."
