SULLIVAN & CROMWELL LLP Partner Frank Aquila talked with Bloomberg TV's Deirdre Bolton about the significance of recent deals to merger and acquisition trends in the current market. Frank noted, “It shows that companies are starting to get back to business as usual. And part of business as usual is continuing on with their strategic plan.” Reflecting on the past year, Frank said, “It's certainly been a year where you've not seen a lot of major transactions, other than in the pharma space. . . . It's taken a while for companies to get back to focusing on their strategic plan and moving forward with it.”
