National Law Journal Covers the Firm’s Supreme Court PracticeFebruary 5, 2014
On February 5, The National Law Journal profiled the Firm's Supreme Court Practice, outlining Mr. Wall's work with the U.S. Solicitor General's Office, his move to S&C, and a recent brief that S&C filed in the Supreme Court. The article points out that S&C is moving ahead of other New York firms in developing expertise in the Supreme Court, which is increasingly of importance to the Firm's clients. “Having Jeff with us is a huge advantage,” said Mr. Giuffra. “It's one thing to be a clerk 25 years ago. Jeff has such enormous current expertise on what the justices are thinking, how to make an argument.” Mr. Wall explained that he was drawn to S&C because it “has had an extremely strong appellate practice,” along with a strong Washington, D.C. office.
