The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Clearinghouse Publishes Quarterly Anti-Bribery Enforcement Trends Analysis in The Wall Street Journal

October 7, 2016

On October 7, The Wall Street Journal published a quarterly analysis of anti-bribery enforcement trends compiled by The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Clearinghouse (FCPAC) titled “FCPA Criminal Prosecutions One Year After the Yates Memo.” S&C developed the FCPAC, a free public database of information related to FCPA enforcement actions, in collaboration with Stanford Law School. This installment of the quarterly analysis focused on the effect that the Yates memo, which directed Department of Justice lawyers to focus more on individual accountability in corporate misconduct investigations, had corporate investigations over the past year.
