Congratulations to Inosi Nyatta on being named to the Crain’s New York Business list of 2019 Notable Women in Law. The list honors “the brightest and boldest legal minds; those with both distinguished careers and exceptional civic and philanthropic activities.” As part of this honor, Ms. Nyatta was profiled in a special section of Crain’s, which notes that “[c]lients in a medley of industries…depend on Nyatta to assist in their acquisitions, private equity investments and joint venture arrangements.” The profile also highlights Ms. Nyatta’s work as an active member of the Firm’s Diversity Committee and as chair of the Africa Sub-Committee of the New York City Bar Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice.
Ms. Nyatta is a partner in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Finance & Restructuring Group and is the co-head of the Firm’s global Project Development & Finance practice. She advises clients on a broad range of financing transactions, including project financings, capital markets offerings and cross-border financings. Ms. Nyatta has acted for a cross-section of sponsor, financial institution and corporate clients in oil and gas, power, financial, mining, infrastructure, consumer and other sectors in the United States, Europe, Africa, Latin America and elsewhere.
