On September 11, Mr. Cohen spoke to Fox Business' Deidre Bolton on Risk and Reward regarding the importance of cutting terrorist financing. Mr. Cohen spoke on the ways that the global financial system funds terrorist organizations such as ISIS and proposed solutions to the problem. “All major international banks have very thorough approaches, programs to stop money laundering, but the problem is that each bank is its own silo,” he said. “What we desperately need is a public/private utility to collate and collect the information so that banks just aren't looking at what each individual bank can determine, but can draw upon other banks and on the government. It is pulling the strings together, piercing the veil, that will enable us to stop it.”
