On May 21, Mr. Aquila appeared on The Deal's The Business of Law, hosted by Lee Pacchia, discussing recent M&A activity and why factors are positive for continuing strong M&A activity in the rest of 2014. When asked what M&A activity might look like in the second half of 2014, Mr. Aquila explained, “I think it's going to be a broad mix of sectors… we're going to see a pickup in consumer and retail M&A, healthcare is going to continue to be strong, tech is going to continue to be strong… But really in a true M&A boom, you see it across the board, and I think that's what we're going to see.” Regarding possible stumbling blocks to growth, Mr. Aquila concluded by pointing out, “There are always risks, but it would have to be pretty catastrophic at this point to really turn things around.” The video also appeared on TheStreet.com and Yahoo!
