This includes work for the biggest names in Silicon Valley and tech hubs in Asia, Europe and other regions of the U.S. Our lawyers are leading cutting-edge matters for a broad base of financial services clients that are expanding their services to meet market demands in the areas of fintech and crypto-currency. And, our crisis management, cybersecurity, white collar criminal defense and investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and anti-money laundering practices continue to grow as global risks and disputes threaten clients across industries.
Likewise, technology is impacting our delivery of services. We are passionate about ensuring that our lawyers and other professionals are provided with as much technological assistance as possible, whether it’s knowledge management, remote access or artificial intelligence (AI), to improve efficiency. Although AI is in its infancy in the legal profession, I believe we will see exponential progress in the next decade.
Despite the political unrest and economic volatility taking place in various countries, I am confident about S&C’s future and the changes to come, as our Firm has benefitted from many decades of evolution and improvement since its founding.
