She works on all aspects of individual clients’ estate planning and personal legal matters, as well as the administration of trusts and estates from inception through termination, including any tax controversy. As part of her practice in the Estates & Personal Group, Ms. Jennings works extensively with charitable and other tax-exempt organizations ranging from corporate and family private foundations to museums, schools, grantmaking organizations, trade associations and social clubs. She has substantial experience advising individual clients in pursuing their philanthropic goals through lifetime gifts, charitable trust structures and testamentary legacies of all types of assets.
Ms. Jennings recently received the Firm’s Michael A. Cooper Award for Outstanding Public Service (2015) for her work on pro bono matters. She is also a past recipient of the Lawyers Alliance for New York’s Cornerstone Award (2002), for work with charitable organizations to support the recovery from the September 11, 2001 attacks.
