Suniti Mehta is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on complex criminal, civil, and regulatory enforcement matters and internal investigations and securities litigation. She has advised financial institutions and corporations in proceedings involving allegations of money laundering, economic sanctions, securities, and fraud violations. She has represented clients in inquiries by the Department of Justice, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and various federal and state bank regulators, including investigations of domestic and foreign banks by U.S. criminal and regulatory authorities. She also has experience representing clients pro bono
in immigration matters, including in affirmative and defensive asylum proceedings, U- and T-visa petitions, and petitions for adjustment of status.
