Suhana Han is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice covers a broad range of commercial litigation, including securities, antitrust, employment and contract disputes, as well as government and regulatory investigations. She has represented some of the world’s leading corporations and financial institutions in complex cases and matters involving the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the SEC, the CFTC, the DOJ and the Federal Reserve Bank.

SELECTED REPRESENTATIONS

• Represents Goldman Sachs in antitrust putative class actions relating to warehousing of aluminum and other metals, as well as related regulatory and government investigations
• Represents Goldman Sachs in employment putative class action alleging gender discrimination with respect to compensation, promotion and performance evaluations
• Represents JPMorgan Chase in various federal and state actions relating to residential mortgage-backed securities
• Represented Porsche in securities fraud actions in connection with its acquisition of a stake in Volkswagen, obtaining dismissal of federal claims and winning federal and state appeals
• Represented UBS and former officers and directors in securities putative class action relating to mortgage-related and auction rate securities as well as cross-border tax issues, obtaining dismissal of claims and successfully defending appeal
• Represented UBS and current and former officers and employees in ERISA “stock drop” class action, obtaining dismissal of a the action and successfully defending the appeal
• Represented Goldman Sachs in an action filed by the director of the Department of Insurance for the State of Missouri in his capacity as liquidator for General American Mutual Holding Company
• Represented Goldman Sachs in connection with an industry-wide investigation relating to the practices of mutual funds and their customers
• Represented JPMorgan Chase in a lawsuit relating to its merger with Bank One
