Courtland Morrice is an Associate in S&C’s General Practice Group and joined the Firm in September 2016.
Mr. Morrice advises corporations, private investment firms and financial institutions on a wide range of corporate and finance matters, including leveraged finance, acquisition finance, debtor-in-possession financing, private debt, structured finance, capital markets, project financings and private equity financing transactions.
Mr. Morrice has acted for clients in a variety of financing transactions, including, but not limited to: Rent-A-Center, Inc. in the financing for its $1.65 billion acquisition of Acima Holdings, LLC; Bumble Bee Foods, a portfolio company of Lion Capital, in connection with its $850 million debt refinancing led by Brookfield, named Consumer Staples Deal of the Year by the M&A Advisor; Cheniere Energy, Inc. in a number of transactions, including their $2.0 billion 4.625% senior secured notes offering; City Brewing Company, LLC in its $972 million first lien credit agreement; Energizer Holdings, Inc. in a €650 million 3.500% senior notes offering; and Garrett Motion Inc. in its chapter 11 debtor-in-possession and $1.55 billion exit financing.
