Matt Rosenberg is an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group. His practice focuses on complex transactional matters involving IP, technology and privacy-related issues, including licenses, joint ventures, patent sales, mergers and acquisitions and data sharing arrangements. He also works with clients to assess their data processing practices and develop privacy and security programs that comply with applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. Matt advises clients in a wide range of industries, including software, semiconductors, blockchain, telecommunications, sports, healthcare, financial services and consumer brands. Matt was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™ for Technology Law (2023).

• DISH Network in its acquisitions of Republic Wireless and Ting Mobile and numerous other strategic transactions and investments to build out and deploy its wireless network
• DraftKings in its $3.3 billion merger with SBTech and Diamond Eagle and its $1.6 billion acquisition of Golden Nugget Online Gaming and commercial agreement with Fertitta Entertainment
• Intel in connection with numerous transactional and strategy matters, including its sale to Apple Inc. of its 5G modem business and associated cellular patents, and various patent sales and licenses
