Frederick A. Terry Jr.
Frederick Terry is of counsel of Sullivan & Cromwell. A graduate of Williams College (where he was valedictorian of his class) and Columbia Law School (where he was a Kent Scholar and Articles Editor of the Law Review), he clerked for a year in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit before joining Sullivan & Cromwell in 1957. Mr. Terry is a Trustee Emeritus of The Rockefeller University, an Honorary Trustee of Natural Resources Defense Council, and a former director of the Eisenhower Fellowships. He is a trustee of the McIntosh Foundation and the Flagler Foundation. He is an executor of the Estate of Paul Mellon and of the Estate of Franklin P. Perdue.
