On March 14 and March 15, Keith Pagnani and Melissa Sawyer participated in
Tulane University Law School’s 31st Corporate Law Institute, which was held in New Orleans. Keith is a member of the Tulane Corporate Law Institute Planning Committee and this year participated in a panel titled “Hot Topics in M&A Practice.” The panel discussed the state of M&A deal-making, governance issues and deal litigation, among other topics. Melissa spoke on a panel titled “Delaware Developments,” which examined recent decisions from the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Supreme Court, director independence issues and recent issues regarding dual class companies and related recapitalization proposals.
