Karen Seymour spoke at the Women’s White Collar Defense Association’s 2021 Awards Gala on December 7, where she presented former Deputy Attorney General of the United States Jamie Gorelick with the WWCDA’s Laurie A. Miller Leadership Award. Ms. Gorelick, who was one of the longest-serving U.S. Deputy Attorneys General, was honored for her commitment to promoting diversity and the advancement of women in the legal profession.
The Laurie A. Miller Leadership Award is given each year to an honoree who best exemplifies Laurie’s groundbreaking leadership in White Collar defense and in advancing women in the practice. Karen was selected as the 2020 recipient of the award for her work in White Collar defense and in developing and promoting young women lawyers both in her firm and in the professional associations to which she belongs.
